Three things it always does.
It won't let two bookings clash
If the slot already belongs to somebody else, it stops you. It isn't a warning you can ignore.
Nobody gets in without someone approving it
At home the owner approves. In a company, the fleet manager. Same rule, different person holding it.
Everything is written down
Who had it, at what hours, on what mileage they returned it and in what condition. With a timestamp, and without relying on anyone's memory.

Three quick questions
Is it free?
At home, two vehicles free forever; beyond that there's a price per vehicle. For business, a 30-day trial. Exact prices are on the Home and Business pages.
Does it use GPS?
No. Kocheras doesn't locate the vehicle or store routes: it only knows which slot each person booked and the mileage on return.
Does it insure the car?
No. Kocheras organises the turns; insurance is the owner's, as always. It doesn't cover damage or handle claims.
Kocheras does not insure vehicles, and it is not a lock.
We put this here instead of in the small print. We don't cover damage, we don't mediate if something goes wrong, and no app can stop whoever has the turn from handing the keys to somebody else.
What we do is hand out turns and keep a record. The insurance belongs to whoever owns the vehicle, and it's worth asking your insurer who is allowed to drive it before you share it.
Which way in?
Both start the same way: add a vehicle, invite the people who need it, and the phone calls asking whether it's free stop.
